Company training • random skill drill

Spin it. Get a skill. Go train.

Use the Fire Skill Wheel when your crew needs a fast hands-on drill without spending half the training period deciding what to do. Keep the built-in skills, remove the ones you do not need, or add your own department-specific items.

Ways to use it

One wheel, several training formats.

01

15-minute rep

Spin once, pull the needed equipment, perform two quality repetitions, then review one safety point.

02

Company circuit

Turn on No-Repeat Mode. Spin four to six times and make each result a station in a rotating skills circuit.

03

Probation challenge

Let the probationary firefighter spin, explain the skill before touching equipment, perform it, then receive crew feedback.

04

Head-to-head

Two crews get the same randomly selected skill. Compare safe setup, communication, technique, and reset—not just speed.

05

Teach-back

The person who spins becomes the instructor. Give them five minutes to prepare a short demonstration for the crew.

06

End-of-shift check

Spin once near the end of shift. Keep it short, clean the equipment, and put the apparatus completely back in service.
