This is a quick recognition aid. Use current ERG, SDS, shipping papers, facility information, and HazMat specialists for incident decisions.

| 1 | Explosives | Extreme caution, isolation, evacuation, and specialist support. |
| 2 | Gases | Compressed, liquefied, flammable, toxic, or oxygen-displacing hazards. |
| 3 | Flammable liquids | Ignition control, vapor travel, foam/water runoff considerations. |
| 4 | Flammable solids / reactive materials | May react with water, friction, air, or heat. |
| 5 | Oxidizers / organic peroxides | Can intensify fire and react with contaminants. |
| 6 | Poison / infectious substances | Toxic exposure, contamination control, PPE and decon planning. |
| 7 | Radioactive materials | Time, distance, shielding, monitoring, and specialist notification. |
